About Mrs. Davis

Hello “Eagles”, my name is Mrs. Latoya Davis and I am the new Guidance Counselor at Olentangy Hyatts Middle School. I am returning to Olentangy after a 2 year hiatus and I am excited about working with such a supportive community. I have been in education for seven years. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications, and then received a Master of Science degree in School Counseling from Concordia University of Wisconsin & a Master of Arts in Special Education. I was a high school counselor and elementary counselor in Columbus City Schools. I also taught for 3 years at the elementary and middle school level.

I live in Gahanna with my husband, Carlos Davis. When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, exercising, traveling and spending time with family and friends. I am delighted to be back at Hyatts Middle School and I look forward to a very exciting and rewarding school year!
