THEN JOIN THE HYATTS EAGLE ADVOCATES PROGRAM!
1. WHAT IS EAGLE ADVOCATES?
Eagle Advocates is a leadership program for middle school students that promotes healthy life choices, including being drug-free. Eagle Advocates is provided by Recovery & Prevention Resources of Delaware County and Hyatts Middle School. RPR is a non-profit agency committed to promoting healthy, drug-free lifestyles for the youth of Delaware County.
2. HOW WILL THIS PROGRAM BENEFIT ME?
The program will provide you with many opportunities to have drug-free fun, gain support from other neat, caring and drug-free teens, and help yourself and others to make healthy choices in all areas of your life.
3. WHEN ARE THE MEETINGS?
The meetings will be held at Hyatts on Thursdays, typically twice a month from 2:45-4:15pm. Meetings will be facilitated by Kabita Sharma, Prevention Educator from RPR.
4. HOW DO I SIGN UP?
To be part of the program you need to: A) complete an application, available from Mr. Fritch in Guidance or the Eagle Post; B) have your parents read and sign it: NOTE: Applicants will be considered on a first come, first served basis with a maximum of 25 students.
